THE DESIGN

Above: A grove of aspens is planted along the front slope - their white bark picks up some of the white accents on the house; Below: the east side has a new stairway to negotiate the steep slope, although the client changed it from the staggered landing approach in our plan that would have added to the safety of the long stair.
Below: some of the boulders from the front and new larger ones were added to stabilize the slope that used to have ivy all over it, while the new water feature is in progress
