Thank you for your interest in scheduling an appearance with Vanessa. In order for us to better assist you with your planning, please forward as much of the information shown below as possible via email. Seminars are 30-60 minutes, lecture with PowerPoint presentation, accompanied by outline upon request. Workshops on selected topics are half-day to full-day sessions.

We request that your organization provide the following related to Vanessa's appearance:

• Accommodations and meals or appropriate per diem (if farther than 50 miles).
• All technical or A/V equipment related to any presentation (Vanessa can bring her laptop but prefers it if you have one on site already working with your digital projector.)

Brief speaker's bio:
As a youngster, Vanessa Gardner Nagel's grandfather bequeathed her with the love of plants in Minnesota, while her mother taught her to weed in California. Vanessa spent over 20 years as a commercial interior designer and turned her global design experience inside-out into landscape design. She taught design at Maryhurst University and has gardened for over 40 years. Today, after more than 30 years as a designer, Vanessa is an award-winning, eco-conscious, garden designer, the author of Understanding Garden Design and The Professional Designer's Guide to Garden Furnishings, and the owner of Seasons Garden Design LLC. Vanessa is a member of the international board of directors for the Association for Professional Landscape Designers and was a member of the former Advisory Board of Garden Design Magazine. Vanessa continues to weed in her own garden, Dragonfly Hollow.
